Abstract Painting

This is a six week class designed for teens, to introduce them to the basics of abstract acrylic painting. They will spend the first half of the course learning basic skills and technical work while painting; and then put those skills to use while making a class Mural Project the second half!   This is the perfect class for your child who is wanting to expand their artistic talents, while making new friends and having fun with their imaginations! 

 The six weeks will focus on the following skills: 

Weeks One-Three: Skills and Technical work -Color wheels, shading, gradation scale, mixing colors, making black

Weeks Four-Six: Mural Project -Mural theme discussion, take home painting, class mural 

 

Class size is limited to 10 students

Cost is $180 (Includes materials fee) 

Materials that you will receive to work with include: 16x20, 11x14, and 8 x10 canvases, paint palettes, various brushes and tools, AND alllllll the paint!! :)
