Let our team delight your creative little bookworms in this fun & messy Story time + Art Class!

We'll kick off class by reading a story from a curated selection of well-loved picture books; followed by faaaabulous opportunities for art and sensory exploration inspired by our story of the day!

Story Explorers playgroup is a wonderful time to nurture a love of literacy and creativity, and make sweet memories together along the way.

 

*Adult participation required.

Let's explore through ART + PLAY!

Preschool Art Club is a drop-off art class that meets throughout the school year. There are morning and afternoon options!

 

Young artists will learn through multiple play opportunities in this one-of-a-kind club. We'll make friends, messes, art, and a lot of childhood magic. 

 

Ages: 3-6 (must be potty trained)

Day/Time:

Monday afternoon- 4:30pm- 5:45

Do you have a young artist who is ready to start exploring and creating through new mediums?! 

This class is the perfect transition between our preschool and elementary art clubs.

We will spend each session awakening our imaginations and creativity while exploring painting, sculpting and mixed-media skills.

​

Children will gain confidence in their creative talents, try techniques they may have never learned before, and learn to simply enjoy the artistic process!

 

Ages:  grades KG and 1st

Does your elementary-schooler need an artistic outlet?   Are they creative, imaginative, and open to trying new things?  Join us for ART CLUB!

We will spend each session awakening our imaginations and creativity while exploring painting, sculpting and mixed-media skills.

Ages: grades 2nd - 5th

Teens/Tweens will gain confidence in their creative talents, try techniques they may have never learned before, and learn to simply enjoy the artistic process!

Has your child shown an interest in sewing?! Creative Sewing is the perfect class to let ALL those creative vibes flow.

 

Children are given a foundational knowledge of how to use their tools (machines, fabrics, scissors etc) and then are given the freedom to sew anything they want; with support from their instructors.

 

Step-by-step projects have their place, but it's not here. Projects are child-led! Here we celebrate innovation, unique designs, and perfectly-imperfect hand drawn patterns.

Does your child love making... art, messes, and friends?!  Come play at Open Studio!

 

Each week children will get to explore oodles of art and sensory activities…paint, water, clay, foam, glue and so much more!  This class is all about joy-filled art and messy fun.

 

Make this your regular Monday play-date!   And the BEST part is; *I* take care of all the mess and clean up!​

Our Open Studio time truly embraces The Art Factory’s purpose; to allow children the time and space to…

create + explore + imagine!

 

Our Open Studio stations are designed to include exciting Art & Play experiences that will challenge your child’s imagination, fuel their creativity, and help strengthen developing skills.

 

And the BEST part is... *I* take care of all the mess and clean up!

This super-fun class opportunity combines literature, art, and drama!

Each Book Club session we will read (over the course of four weeks) a novel that also has a movie based off of it.  

During our book club meetings we will…

• have engaging discussion on the chapters of the week,

• participate in a fun, energetic game or movement themed to the book, 

•  and do an awesome art activity!  

​

At the conclusion of the four weeks we will gather together at The Lyric Theatre on Saturday morning to watch a free family showing of the movie based off our book club book!

​​

Books+Art+Drama= the most EPIC kid's book club ever!
